Iruppu Falls and Nagarhole

Last day of the trip to Coorg we visited Iruppu falls and then Nagarhole.

Iruppu falls was 82 Km from Madikeri town.

We reached here around 11:30 and it was too hot down near the car parking.

Falls is open from 8 AM to 5 PM.

There is only 1 hotel, 1 Ice cream cart and one shop.

Entry fee for falls is 30Rs per adult and 10Rs parking for car.
Road from madikeri town to Iruppu falls.

You can keep clicking pics as the whole way was too beautiful.
Small trek to reach the falls top.

Need to climb 120+ steps and its not difficult.

My parents were able to climb up with small break.
Hanging bridge on the way.
Bhramagiri wildlife sanctuary. Good that there are no shops down else this place would have become dirty and dangerous to wildlife.

Though it was very hot down the trek path was pleasant.

You can get into the falls here. This is the second stage of the falls. One can climb up another 20 steps but that place was too crowded.

We had a nice time here and Harsh enjoyed the chill water.

I tried to take a dip in the falls but the water was too cold. After spending 30 min we climbed down.

Had meals in the hotel down. Only meals with chapathi available. The food was average. Sambar and Rasam was watery. Curd and Payasam was very good. Rs80 per plate.

Also try Butterscotch cone it was very good.
Nagarhole national park. We saw plenty of spotted deer and saw no other animal. It was around 3 PM and hot.

Our trip ended with a splendid sunset near paschimavahini railway crossing.
